• Fragrance: Elegant and complex, with floral and black cherry nuances that open to fresh notes of green almond, kiwi and artichoke, a true evolution of aromatic notes.
• Taste: the taste is ample, sweet on opening, pleasant and well-dosed bitter charge, spicy in progressive growth, excellent harmony and complexity, long persistence of spicy notes of black pepper at the end.
• Use: Raw on tuna and salmon tartare; beans, chickpeas and vegetable soups; on red meats or very tasty fish; paired with fresh cheeses, excellent on ricotta and spinach tortelli, rice or pasta in bianco with flaked parmesan, surprising on cocoa and pistachio ice cream.

In June 2003 Villa Magra Grand Cru wins the international oil tasting prize awarded to the best extra virgin olive oils in the world, organised by the Grand Jury Européen in the Château Branire. Following this event, in October 2003, the jury’s President, Françoise Mauss, proposed and went on to organise an exchange: 100 bottles of “Villa Magra Grand Cru” with 100 bottles of great Bordeaux wines, such as Latour, Lafite, Petrus, Cheval Blanc, and others.
