      Baked anchovies with bread crumbs

      Ingredients:

      Serves 4-6:
      • 800 g of anchovies
      • Parsley
      • 2 cloves of garlic
      • Bread crumbs
      • 1 lemon
      • Salt
      • Black pepper
      • Villa Magra EVOO

      Recipe:

      If whole, clean the anchovies, scaling them under cold running water and rinsing them off; remove the guts, the heads and the tails.
      Grease a tin and arrange the anchovies in a first layer. Mince cut parsley together with the garlic and season the anchovies; add black pepper, salt (a small pinch) and sprinkle bread crumbs on. Season with a drizzle of Villa Magra. Repeat these layers until youhave ended all the ingredients up and finishing with bread crumbs, lemon juice and Villa Magra. Pre-heat oven 220°C/428°F and bake the anchovies or 25-30 minutes or until golden. Serve still warm and complete with a finishing touch of Villa Magra.
